Last November, Tommy Bash found himself in the hospital after a bar fight with a few popular TV characters. Fortunately, Dave Grohl was able to quickly find them a replacement in Maximus Steel.

In December, the world was shocked to discover that Ted Cougar decided to take leave from touring to focus on a career as a bonsai farmer. Ted claims that "Bonsai farming attracts a lot of older women." Soon after Ted's announcement there was so much desperation and turmoil within the band that Sebastian began writing his own obituary. Mikki proposed finding a new bass player and the whole band agreed that Mikki's solution could save the band!
